Growing up in Agartala, Kolkata & finally in Mumbai, She was a stranger to the film n TV industry, being the daughter of a simple but educated family. She later trained and performed at the Kolkata Film & Telivision Institute, where she was seen in a bengali Telefilm "ALOY PHERA".
She is working as a professional Actor in Mumbai, and has also appeared in Hindi and Regional Films. In addition, She has acted in few TV serials like CID, Jai Shri Krishna, Vikram Betal, Mahima Shani Dev ki, Chandramukhi and so on.
